SLANT, the latest group of artists involved with the Midtown artist community presents a collaborative installation powerfully titled F5: Dream of Returning Home. The installation is SLANT’s creative response to “Picking Up the Pieces", an art auction hosted by Galleries at Midtown and benefiting neighboring towns affected by catastrophic tornadoes.

Incorporating donated found object debris from Texas and Oklahoma tornadoes, SLANT’s ‘F5’ installation is a sincere reflection on man versus Mother Nature, our deep connection to things that remind us of home, the devastation of loss, the strength to carry on.
